Artist of the Day!

Thrilled to be able to say I was selected as "Artist of the Day" by Rittenhouse Archives yesterday for their upcoming Marvel's Greatest Heroes trading card set.  This is what's been taking all my time pretty much Oct - Jan.

Since they posted up a 9-card preview of the cards I completed on Facebook - I can show them here.

Enjoy the preview, and as I'm able to show more of my cards I'll post them up here.

Catching up

Wow, I haven't posted out here in quite some time, and for the 2 people that follow me - sorry about that.  ;)  Actually I've been quite busy throughout the holidays on a project that as of now I still can't show any of that work but hopefully will be able to in the next few weeks.  However I can put up a few art pieces I've done recently that are not related to that particular project.

I've also gotten to know some amazing artists over these last few months who have really motivated me to continue to improve, just by looking at how they approached similar challenges to the ones I've had.

I'm "in between" projects at the moment - yes, I've just agreed to another "as yet unnamed" project, but will say that I will be working on an unspecified number of sketch cards for an unnamed publisher.  More to come on that soon.
